Sahdev Dirdo, the boy who became popular for his viral ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ video has met with anaccident. Rapper Badshah, who collaborated with him for a song, tweeted, “In touch with Sahdev’ family…He’s unconscious, on his way to hospital.” He was on a motorcycle with his father when the accident occurred, said India Today.

 

Shami takes fewest balls to take 200 Test wickets

Team India fast bowler Mohammad Shami has set the record for taking 200 Test wickets for India in the fewest deliveries. Shami reached the 200-wicket mark in South Africa’s first innings in the Centurion Test. He took 9,896 deliveries to reach the milestone, overtaking Ravichandran Ashwin, who had taken 10,248 deliveries to reach the mark.

MP man cuts 35-yr-old live-in partner’s nose with axe

A 40-year-old has been arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district for allegedly chopping off his 35-year-old live-in partner’s nose with an axe after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol. The woman’s neighbours had alerted the police after they rushed to their house upon hearing her cries. She was rushed to a hospital.

BJP trying to buy AAP leaders after Chandigarh civic poll: Chadha

A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) bagged 14 out of 35 wards in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, party leader Raghav Chadha said that BJP is allegedly trying to poach the winning candidates. Chaddha said that BJP has offered an amount ranging between ₹50 lakh and ₹75 lakh to the councillors. BJP won 12 seats in the election.

Samajwadi Party’s ABCD wrong, A is ‘Apraadh’: Amit Shah in UP

While addressing a rally in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said the A, B, C, D of Samajwadi Party is all wrong. Shah added, “[Their] ‘A’ stands for ‘Apraadh aur Aatank’, ‘B’ for ‘Bhaai-Bhatijaavaad’, ‘C’ for ‘Corruption’ and ‘D’ for ‘Dangaa’.” The BJP has wiped out this A, B, C, D, Shah said.

Woman killed in front of son in B’luru, ex-husband’s role suspected

A 42-year-old woman identified as Archana Reddy was attacked with machetes and knives at the outskirts of Bengaluru on Monday in front of her son leading to her death. The police suspect her ex-husband Naveen and his friend Santosh killed her. Reddy and Naveen got divorced five-six years ago but had been fighting over a land dispute.
Ranbir and Alia jet off  to an undisclosed destination

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt took off to an undisclosed destination to ring in the New Year. The couple was photographed at the departure gate of the international airport in Mumbai .In a video shared online by a paparazzo account, Ranbir and Alia got out of their car and walked towards the airport terminal. Right before going inside, they turned around to pose for pictures and waved at the shutterbugs, who wished them a happy new year and happy journey. They then walked inside the airport.

One fan said that Ranbir and Alia are next in line to get married. “Bollywood me agli shadi inki hi hone wali hai ab (Theirs will be the next wedding in Bollywood),” the fan wrote. Another called them ‘hottest couple’.

Many fans speculated that Ranbir and Alia were flying to the Maldives, which is where many other Bollywood stars, including Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna, Hrithik RoshanTiger Shroff and Disha Patani are holidaying. “Sab saamaan baandhke Maldives jaa rahe hai (Everyone is packing their bags and going to the Maldives),” one wrote.

Mumbai COVID-19 cases jump by 70% as 1,377 new cases reported

Mumbai on Tuesday reported 1,377 new COVID-19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours, a day after reporting 809 fresh cases and three deaths. The rise in fresh COVID-19 cases stands at nearly 70% and the recovery rate at 97%. Notably, Maharashtra reported 2,172 new COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths in the last 24 hours.
